A focused range of services
Contrary to most other Swiss law firms, we have resolved to focus our activities on carefully selected legal areas, so as to be able to render our services with speed and efficiency. This choice has enabled us to build a team of lawyers who are truly specialized and experienced in their respective fields while avoiding the need for our firm to grow in size beyond what is necessary to service the business needs of our clients.
As a result of this strategy, we have created one of the leading teams of business lawyers in Switzerland.
Our firm is exclusively devoted to business law with a clear emphasis on corporate and commercial matters, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, new technologies, competition, tax and international arbitration.
As the need arises, we cooperate, both domestically and abroad, with a network of correspondent law firms and other service providers carefully selected over the years.
We operate as a fully integrated partnership with a strong emphasis on team work.
Expertise, information and knowledge are constantly and actively shared amongst our lawyers. Because of the one team key feature of the firm, matters are naturally assigned to those best qualified to handle them and the combined expertise of all the attorneys is always available to deal with clients requirements and needs.
We select the best legal talents
We select the best legal talents as we believe that the excellence of the services our clients are entitled to expect from us necessarily imply that our lawyers have the highest level of technical skills and professional knowledge.
This probably explains - in part - why the firm has scored, both in relative and absolute terms, the highest number of lawyers who ranked first in their final bar examination.
All of our lawyers had outstanding academic records as students and most of them received part of their academic legal education in one of the leading foreign universities - mostly in the USA or the United Kingdom – and subsequently completed a traineeship/foreign lawyers program abroad working with large international law firms.
We encourage and expect our lawyers to constantly improve their expertise by researching, teaching, publishing or giving presentations in their respective fields of specialisation.
Quite a few of our lawyers have either held, or currently hold, positions as part-time professors of law at one of the Swiss universities.
