Tavernier Tschanz represented a famous conductor in a dispute with a Swiss renowned theatre institution. The dispute arose as the theatre had to cancel the production and performance of a major classical opera because of unexpectedly long works on the theatre building and refused to pay the conductor the agreed upon compensation. The dispute was finally settled by a decision of the Swiss Supreme Court of 21 September 2021 confirming the lower court decisions.
